# Who I Want to Meet:
46. If God and the Holy Ghost are two separate persons, which was the Father of Christ? Matthew 1:20 says that the Holy Ghost was the Father, while Romans 15:6, II Corinthians 11:31, and Ephesians 1:3 say that God was the Father. There is no contradiction when we realize that God the Father and the Holy Ghost are one and the same Spirit. Matthew 10:20; Ephesians 4:4; I Corinthians 3:16.
47. When Paul asked the Lord who He was, what was the answer? "I am Jesus." Acts 9:5.
48. When Stephen was dying, did he call God Jesus? Yes. Acts 7:59.
49. Did Thomas ever call Jesus God? Yes. John 20:28.
50. How could Jesus be the Savior, when God the Father said in Isaiah 43:11, "Beside me there is no Savior?" Because "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." II Corinthians 5:19.
51. Does the Bible say that Jesus was God with us? Yes. Matthew 1:23.
52. Did Jesus ever say, "I and my Father are one?" Yes. John 10:30.
53. Can it be proved scripturally that Jesus and the Father are one in the same sense that husband and wife are one? No. The Godhead was never compared to the relationship of a husband and wife. Jesus identified Himself with the Father in a way that husband and wife cannot be identified with each other. John 14:9-11.
54. Does the Bible say that there is only one wise God? Yes. Jude 25.
55. Does the Bible call the Holy Ghost a second or third person in the Godhead? No. The Holy Ghost is the one Spirit of God, the one God Himself at work in our lives. John 4:24; I Corinthians 3:16-17; 6:19; 12:13.
56. Can Trinitarians show that three divine persons were present when Jesus was baptized by John? Absolutely not. The one, omnipresent God used three simultaneous manifestations. Only one divine person was present--Jesus Christ the Lord.
57. Then what were the other two of whom Trinitarians speak? One was a voice from heaven; the other was the Spirit of God in the form of a dove. Matthew 3:16-17.
58. What did the voice say at Jesus' baptism? "Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Mark 1:11. As the Son of God, Jesus was the one God incarnate.
59. Does the Bible say that God shed His blood and that God laid down His life for us? Yes. Acts 20:28; I John 3:16. God was able to do this because He had taken upon Himself a human body.
60. The Bible says that God is coming back with all his saints (Zechariah 14:5) and also that Jesus is coming back with all his saints (I Thessalonians 3:13). Are two coming back? No. Only one is coming back--our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13.

Greetings Uzziel
Trinitarianism is indeed wrong.
But sadly, both Oneness and trinity doctrines try to make Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah our Lord, into Almighty GOD!!
And both doctrines state that you must believe that the Lord Jesus is Almighty GOD to be saved!!
In this regard, both doctrines do err and are scripturally wrong.
IMHO!
Both doctrines appeared hundreds of years after the ascension of Christ.
Both doctrines try to explain how Jesus can be both God and man at the same time!! The Godman!!
But the original faith which was once delivered unto the saints [Jude 3] did not suffer from this problem.
The original faith has always been
that there is solely ONE GOD,
the Father.
And Jesus of Nazareth, is the one man, the one human being whom Almighty GOD raised from the dead, made him, both Lord and Christ, and exalted him to His right hand.
Hence, Jesus of Nazareth is
the Lord Jesus Christ,
a man approved of Almighty GOD,
who is currently at the right hand of the ONE GOD in the heavens.
Whom we await for his return.
(1 Cor 8:4) ... there is none other God but one.
(1 Cor 8:6) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
(1 Tim 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;
(1 Th 1:9-10) For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Hundreds of years after the pure, true, apostolic faith was propagated;
Greek, Hellenistic and pagan philosophy/doctrines changed the human Jesus into a demigod then into a godman.
And in response, both the doctrines of the trinity and Oneness tried to solve this self-inflicted problem!
The solution therefore, is to return to the pure faith and doctrine as taught in the Scriptures:
that there is solely ONE GOD, the Father.
And there is solely one man, one human, whom the ONE GOD has made
"Lord of all", the man Messiah Jesus.
And indeed the day is coming where ...
(Phil 2:11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
May I suggest that one can prayerfully begin this journey of recovery by viewing a helpful video at
The Human Jesus
Take a couple of hours to watch it and be Berean about the points made; and prayerfully it will aid you in your quest for truth.
In closing,
although I am not a trinitarian,
I thought I would give answers to a portion of the 60 questions as follows:
8. Has the Christian only one Heavenly Father? Yes. Matthew 23:9.
Amen. And consider also what Jesus said concerning the Father:
(John 20:17) ... I ascend unto my Father, and your Father;
and to my God, and your God.
It appears that Christians' Heavenly Father & GOD;
is also both the Father & GOD
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Compare: Rom 15.6, 2 Cor 11.31, Eph 1.3,17; Col 1.3, 1 Pet 1.3
13. Who is the Father? The Father is the one God, particularly as revealed in parental relationship to humanity. Deuteronomy 32:6; Malachi 2:10.
15. Did the prophet Isaiah say that Jesus would be the Father? Yes. Isaiah 9:6; 63:16.
The word 'Father' in Isa 9:6 abi-ad is being used in a different context here; the term 'father' in this verse does not mean the ONE GOD.
Compare Isa 51:2, Matt 3.9, Rom 4.16.
Also Eliakim, he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. Isa 22.20-22.
In Isa 9.6, abi-ad means that the Messianic king will be
the father of the age to come.
So, just as Abraham being called 'father' doesn't make him Almighty GOD, and just as Eliakim, being called 'father' doesn't make him Almighty GOD, the same goes for the Messiah.
Besides, Jesus clearly said:
(Mat 23:9-10) And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master, even Christ.
Jesus makes a clear distinction between himself and the ONE GOD, the Heavenly Father.
And above all, Jesus identified his Father as the only true GOD!
(John 17:1) These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,
Father, ...
(John 17:3) And this is life eternal,
that they might know thee the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
19. Does the Bible say that Jesus is the Almighty? Yes. Revelation 1:8
NO! It does not!
Don't be duped by red letter bibles.
Verse 8 is about the ONE GOD, the Father. Just compare verse 4:
from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; ...
Then verse 5: And from Jesus Christ, ... right through to verse 7 (ending with Amen.);
these verses are about Jesus.
So, verse 4: GOD; verses 5-7: Jesus Christ; verse 8: GOD again; verse 9: John
22. How many persons did John see sitting on the throne in heaven? One. Revelation 4:2.
The ONE he saw is the ONE GOD,
the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.
Whilst the Lamb is in the midst of the throne alongside the 24 elders & the 4 beasts
[Rev 5.6, 7.17].
The Lamb (we know who the Lamb is!
John 1.29,36)
even takes the book out of the right hand of Him who is seated on the throne!! [Rev 5.6-7]
Solely the ONE GOD is depicted throughout the Book of Revelation as seated on the One throne; whilst the Lamb is not!
23. If Jesus is the first and the last, why did God say in Isaiah 44:6 that He was the first and the last? Because Jesus is the God of the Old Testament incarnate.
Different context. Clue: The immortal Almighty GOD who ONLY has immortality
[1 Tim 6.16]
cannot die!
While Jesus the first and the last, was dead!!
[Rev 1:17-18]
Thus it ought to be obvious that the terms "the first and the last" are being used in different contexts, depending on whom it is referring to, whether GOD or Christ.
30. Does the Bible say that there is but one Lord? Yes. Isaiah 45:18; Ephesians 4:5.
31. Does the Bible say that Christ is the Lord? Yes. Luke 2:11.
The word 'Lord' is being used in two different contexts.
(That's why the Oneness'
onegodwheel of prophecy appears to work;
because it is not taking into consideration,
the different usage/context of the word 'lord')
See Psalm 110.1. The word 'lord' is used twice.
Once in ref. to YAHWEH GOD ALMIGHTY.
The other ref. to someone who David
prophesied about & called 'my lord'.
Jesus after identifying the ONE GOD as the ONE LORD of Deut 6.4 in Mark 12:28-34;
then identifies himself as that other 'lord' referred to in Psa 110.1.
See Mark 12:35-37.
Psa. 110.1 is the most quoted OT verse in the NT.
It defines the Lordship of Christ.
And it was fulfilled when the LORD GOD made that same Jesus,
whom ye have crucified,
both Lord and Christ.
Acts 2.32-36
For more info on Psalm 110.1
and its implications concerning Jesus' Lordship,
please see:
LORD, Lord, lord
Adonai and Adoni (Psalm 110:1)
BTW, the word "LORD" used in the verses you refer to in questions:
30 (Isaiah 45:18), 32 (I kings 18:39; Zechariah 14:5;),
39, 40;
is actually GOD's Name in the Hebrew text
(hence not the actual Hebrew word for 'lord')
That is why this word appears in capitals, "LORD" in our English OT
And also, that is why these OT comparisons to the Lord Jesus simply do not match.
You cannot just compare two OT & NT verses
which both use the word 'lord' and think that they are referring
to the same being, the same 'lord'.
(Hence, why the onegodwheel of prophecy does not work!)
The OT usage of the word "LORD"
(in the examples questions e.g. 30,32,39,40,etc.)
is actually GOD's name.
(Hence capitalized in our translations as "LORD"
to indicate to the reader that
this word is actually GOD's name in the Hebrew.)
Whilst the other usage is Jesus' title,
simply the word 'Lord'.
(Also, other men in both the OT/NT are also called 'Lord'.
That doesn't make them the LORD GOD just as it doesn't make them
the Lord Christ
[Luke 2.11, Col 3.24])
Always check the context:
see LORD, Lord, lord
So in answer to No. 30.
The Father is YAHWEH, there is none else.
Hence he is the One God and Father of all. [Eph 4.6]
And in answer to No. 31.
In contrast, Jesus of Nazareth is the one man
whom YAHWEH GOD made both
"Lord & Christ" in fulfillment of Psalm 110.1;
thus Jesus Christ is the "one Lord" [Eph 4.5]
Thus:
(1 Cor 8:4) ... that there is none other God but one.
(1 Cor 8:6) But to us there is but one God, the Father, ...
and one Lord, Jesus Christ, ...
33. How could the church belong to Jesus (Matthew 16:18)
and yet be the church of God (I Corinthians 10:32)? Because Jesus is God in the flesh.
A simpler answer would be:
(John 3:35) The Father loveth the Son,
and hath given all things into his hand.
(John 6:37) All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
(John 16:15) All things that the Father hath are mine: ...
(John 17:2) As thou hast given him power over all flesh,
that he should give eternal life
to as many as thou hast given him.
(John 17:9-11) I pray for them: I pray not for the world,
but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine;
and I am glorified in them.
11 ... Holy Father, keep through thine own name
those whom thou hast given me,
that they may be one, as we are.
37. What is one thing that God Cannot do? Lie. Titus 1:2.
GOD ALSO CANNOT DIE. That is what "Immortal" means! So that's two things!
(1 Tim 1:17) Now unto the King eternal,
immortal, invisible, the only wise God,
be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
(1 Tim 6:16) Who only hath immortality,
dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto;
whom no man hath seen, nor can see:
to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Yet Jesus died for us. Hence, Jesus is not the ONE GOD, but rather
the human Son of the ONE GOD, the Father.
(1 Tim 2:5) For there is one God,
and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;
(2 John 1:3) Grace be with you, mercy, and peace,
from God the Father,
and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
41. Does the Bible say that God alone treads upon the waves of the sea? Yes. Job 9:8
42. Why, then, was Jesus able to walk upon the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 14:25)?
Because He is God the Creator. Colossians 1:16.
Your reasoning therefore would make Peter, GOD the Creator!!
Why? Because Peter walked on water:
(Mat 14:29) And he said, Come.
And when Peter was come down out of the ship,
he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
So ask yourself how was Peter able to walk on water?
Hint: The answer to that question will answer how Jesus was able to walk on water too!
Clue: Acts 2.22, 10.38
43. Is God the only one who can forgive sin? Yes. Isaiah 43:25; Mark 2:7.
44. Why, then, could Jesus forgive sin in Mark 2:5-11? Because He is God the Savior.
Again, your reasoning would make Jesus' disciples, God the Savior!
Why? Because they also forgave sins.
(John 20:23) Whose soever sins
ye remit [forgive, same Gk. word as in Mark 2.5-11!],
they are remitted [forgiven, same Gk. word as in Mark 2.5-11!] unto them; ...
So the question should be, how could the disciples do so?
Answer: By the authority of Jesus which was given them.
Then how did Jesus in turn forgive sins?
That right! By the authority of the ONE GOD has given to Jesus!!
Therefore:
(Mat 9:8) But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled,
and glorified God, which had given such power [AUTHORITY] unto men.
i.e. the man Jesus of Nazareth!!
The believing crowd understood this!!
45. Is Jesus the true God? Yes. I John 5:20.
NO!!! Jesus clearly tells us who the true GOD is.
John (the same writer) isn't contradicting himself!!
(John 17:1) These words spake Jesus,
and lifted up his eyes to heaven,
and said, Father, ...
(John 17:3) And this is life eternal,
that they might know thee the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
48. When Stephen was dying, did he call God Jesus? Yes. Acts 7:59.
NO! The word 'God' is in italics in our Bibles;
to indicate that this word is not in the Greek text;
but rather was added to the English translation
by the (trinitarian) translators.
Rather the verse actually reads:
(Acts 7:59) And they stoned Stephen,
calling upon and saying,
Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Always remember who translated the KJV Bible!
They obviously have a bias to present Jesus as 'God the Son'!!
50. How could Jesus be the Savior, when God the Father said in Isaiah 43:11, "Beside me there is no Savior?" Because "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." II Corinthians 5:19.
Well, ask yourself:
How could the ONE GOD, raised up men in OT times to be saviors? ...
Judg 3.9,15; Neh 9.27 (see also Obad 21)
How could Othniel & Ehud be
saviors in light of Isa 43:11?
(The word "deliverer" the same Heb. word as "savior" in Isa 43.11)
Does that mean then that Othniel and Ehud are GOD?
Of course not!
So to be called/made "Savior",
didn't make Othniel & Ehud, Almighty GOD!
So neither does it make Jesus!
[Acts 5.31, 13.23]
Othniel, Ehud, the saviors of Neh 9.27;
are all agents of GOD our Savior.
The ONE GOD saved through them in the OT.
Likewise in the NT,
the ONE GOD saves through His agent,
Jesus the Messiah.
That is why they are both referred to as Saviors.
So similar to questions
23 & 31.
Same terms, different contexts!
51. Does the Bible say that Jesus was God with us? Yes. Matthew 1:23.
It actually reads:
(Mat 1:23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child,
and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is, God with us.
Its the name "Emmanuel" which means
"God with us".
And in actuality, the boy in Isaiah chapters 7 & 8 was also called "Immanuel".
Did that make the child, GOD?
And also,
Jesus is never actually recorded as being
called by that name in the NT. Hmmm!
52. Did Jesus ever say, "I and my Father are one?" Yes. John 10:30.
And look at what else Jesus said:
(John 17:11) And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world,
and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me,
that they may be one, as we are.
(John 17:22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;
that they may be one, even as we are one:
59. Does the Bible say that God shed His blood and that God laid down His life for us? Yes. Acts 20:28; I John 3:16. God was able to do this because He had taken upon Himself a human body.
Again, look at 1 John 3.16
The words 'of God' are in italics in our Bibles;
to indicate that these words are not in the Greek text;
but rather these words were added to our English translation
by the (trinitarian) translators.
Rather the verse actually reads:
(1 John 3:16) Hereby perceive we the love, because he laid down his life for us:
and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Obviously, the context is about
our Lord Jesus Christ;
and not about Almighty GOD,
who cannot die!!
As for Acts 20.28, that's another translation issue!
I won't go into detail about that here.
However, always remember who translated the KJV Bible! And their theological bias.
Nevertheless, the Bible does not
say anyway that GOD shed blood!
60. The Bible says that God is coming back with all his saints (Zechariah 14:5) and also that Jesus is coming back with all his saints (I Thessalonians 3:13). Are two coming back? No. Only one is coming back--our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13.
The question ought to be rather:
Are two coming?
Well ... we know that Jesus indeed is going to come back at his return.
However, are you not aware that after the 1000 years,
GOD Himself is going to come!!
i.e. (Rev 7:15) ... and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
(Rev 21:2-3) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Oh BTW, the Greek text of Titus 2:13 can legitimately be translated another way,
which shows that this verse actually speaks of
the appearance of the glory of our Great God AND our Saviour Jesus Christ;
i.e. The Glory.
Compare:
(Mat 16:27) For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father
with his angels; ...
(Mark 8:38) ... when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
(Luke 9:26) ... when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's,
and of the holy angels.

How sad & disheartening... to think that the great God of the universe only loved me enough that he would send some OTHER person - a mere human (this human only Jesus you speak of) - to die for me.
That would be like me creating my own creation who I knew would fall into sin & would need a blood sacrifice, then creating a human (whom I would call my son) to die for them. What a sad theory. My poor son! To think the only reason he was created was to die for someone else... surely that son would feel quite used & unloved. We hear stories in the news sometimes when parents have an additional child for the express purpose of harvesting that child's bone marrow or umbilical cord blod JUST TO SAVE ANOTHER CHILD and we feel that is unethical. What about having a child for the express purpose of killing/sacrificing that child for the other? How much love does that show? NONE. Instead, it shows a significant err in judgement, by my account.
Anyone who is a parent knows that the parent himself would rather die a thousand deaths than see his son die. Further, if a creator loves his creation so much, it seems much more reasonable that he would robe himself in flesh (since he has no flesh - he is a SPIRIT) and die himself for his creation. What great love that would show! He loved us so much he, himself, would DIE FOR US!
Thank you, Jesus - God robed in human flesh, the ONE TRUE GOD.
"How sad & disheartening... "
Indeed, this is the very sad consequence and logical conclusion of the Oneness doctrine: .... it causes one to literally reject the love of GOD! As shown through the sacrifice of His beloved Son!!
love4holiness, You say a lot of words ... and you present YOUR reasoning ... but where is there any Scripture to back up any of what you say. Where??
Ask yourself,
is there any verse in the Bible that says that
"GOD so loved the world that He Himself died for us?"
Is there one?
Rather, John by the holy spirit, declared:
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
That is what the Bible says!!
We either believe it & accept it;
or reject it.
"some OTHER person - a mere human (this human only Jesus you speak of)"
Remember this is our Lord & Savior,
Jesus Christ, you are speaking about!
The man Christ Jesus, GOD's Son.
[1 Tim 2.5]
I wouldn't call GOD's beloved, begotten,
holy, sinless, virginally conceived Son,
a mere human.
Rather, he is the greatest human being who has ever lived; and when he returns he will receive his full inheritance, being the appointed heir of all things
and will rule over the Kingdom of GOD
sitting on the throne of his glory.
[Heb 1.2, Psa 2.6-9, Matt 19.28]
"creating a human (whom I would call my son) to die for them."
What does the Bible say?
Again, JOHN 3.16.
Also:
(Luke 1:35) And the angel answered and said unto her,
The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee,
and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee
shall be called the Son of God.
(1 John 4:10) Herein is love,
not that we loved God,
but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(1 John 4:14) And we have seen
and do testify that
the Father sent the Son
to be the Saviour of the world.
"What a sad theory."
THEORY!! love4holiness, I humbly request that you reconsider your language & the things that you are saying and actually reread the Bible for what it says
"What a sad theory. My poor son! To think the only reason he was created was to die for someone else... surely that son would feel quite used & unloved."
That someone else Christ died for,
is you and I, lest you forget!
You should be thanking Jesus, GOD's Son,
for be willing to lay down his life for us.
And you should be thanking GOD our Creator for the sacrifice of His Son!!
And Jesus most definitely did not feel unloved.
Why? Because GOD loved His Son.
(Mat 3:17) And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
(Mat 17:5) ... This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased;
hear ye him.
(Mark 12:6) Having yet therefore
one son, his wellbeloved,
he sent him also last unto them, saying,
They will reverence my son.
(Luke 20:13) Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do?
I will send my beloved son:
it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
(Likewise: it may be
WE WILL EXCEPT & RECEIVE
THE MESSAGE OF GOD'S SACRIFICE OF HIS ONE WELLBELOVED SON!)
(John 3:35) The Father loveth the Son,
and hath given all things into his hand.
(John 5:20) For the Father loveth the Son,...
(John 15:9) As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you:
continue ye in my love.
(John 17:24) Father, ... thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
(John 17:26) ... that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them,
and I in them.
(2 Pet 1:17) For he received from
God the Father honour and glory,
when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Jesus was very much loved by his Father.
And yet because Jesus so loved his Father ...
(John 14:31) But that the world may know that I love the Father;
and as the Father gave me commandment,
even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
We know what Jesus then commenced to do. Don't we?
Thank you Jesus!!
And GOD so loved you & I
AND YET ...
(Rom 8:32) He that spared not his own Son,
but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Thank You GOD our Father!
Jesus said:
That the world may know that I love the Father
That ought to be what we are praising Jesus for.
We shouldn't be fooled by human philosophy and reasoning, which in turn,
causes us to reject what is plainly written in Scripture.
Jesus, GOD's beloved, only-begotten Son, was indeed well loved by his Father.
And as such, he obeyed his Father in all things, even to the death of the cross
[Phil 2.8]
For you and I, in obedience to his Father,
Jesus Christ the Lord willingly laid down his life for us.
Thank You Jesus!!
You need to read again, Genesis 22.
Where this love & sacrifice was prefigured.
"we feel that is unethical"
To compare the actions of
sinful, selfish mankind with
the actions of the Holy, Selfless GOD;
methinks is nigh blasphemy!!
"How much love does that show? NONE.
Instead, it shows a significant err in judgement, by my account."
love4holiness, this is GOD & His Son we are talking about here.
Please remember that & reconsider your language.
Again, reread Genesis 22.
Abraham was about to sacrifice
his only begotten son.
[Heb 11.17]
(Gen 22:2) And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest,
and get thee into the land of Moriah;
and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
(Gen 22:10-12) And Abraham stretched forth his hand,
and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of YAHWEH called unto him out of heaven,
and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad,
neither do thou any thing unto him:
for now I know that thou fearest God,
seeing thou hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son from me.
(Gen 22:16-17) And said,
By myself have I sworn, saith YAHWEH,
for because thou hast done this thing,
and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee,
and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven,
and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Look at GOD's response to Abraham's act of obedience.
Wasn't Abraham, a father, a parent?? YES!
Didn't Abraham love his son?
YES, he most definitely loved his son.
I guess Abraham loved GOD more!!
Nevertheless, out of obedience to his GOD,
Abraham was willing to sacrifice his beloved son, Isaac.
How that must have pained Abraham.
And I am sure he was more than willing to
die a thousand deaths than see his son die;
as you put it!
Yet GOD did not ask Abraham to die, but rather his son.
And out of obedience to GOD,
Abraham was about to slay his son.
Look at GOD's response:
for now I know that thou fearest God,
seeing thou hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son from me.
... for because thou hast done this thing,
and hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son:
That in blessing I will bless thee ...
HOW MUCH MORE THE LOVE OF GOD!!
GOD CANNOT DIE.
HE IS THE ETERNAL IMMORTAL GOD
WHO ONLY HAS IMMORTALITY.
IMMORTALITY MEANS YOU CANNOT DIE.
JUST AS GOD CANNOT LIE, HE CANNOT DIE.
[1 TIM 6.16, 1.17]
So what was GOD to do? To redeem mankind?
He gave us a Lamb for the sin of the whole world.
And that Lamb was His own Son,
whom He loved.
[John 1.29]
How that must have pained the Father to see
His faultless, totally obedient Son,
cruelly maltreated, scourged,
mocked & crucified.
Yet for you and I,
GOD spared him not, but delivered him up for us all.
[Rom 8.32]
That's why GOD raised him from the dead
and so highly exalted him,
and made him Lord.
[Acts 2.34-36, Phil 2.9-11]
Why?
Because of Christ's awesome obedience and sacrifice,
through which, we can now
become the children of GOD.
Again:
(1 John 4:10) Herein is love,
not that we loved God,
but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(1 John 4:14) And we have seen and do testify that
the Father sent the Son
to be the Saviour of the world.
Please love4holiness,
reconsider what you have said;
and look again at the Scriptures
and the awesome love and sacrifice shown via the Father, the ONE GOD,
and His human Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Further, if a creator loves his creation so much, it seems much more reasonable that he would robe himself in flesh (since he has no flesh - he is a SPIRIT) and die himself for his creation. What great love that would show! He loved us so much he, himself, would DIE FOR US!
Prayerfully, love4holiness,
I have shown you using Scripture that this is simply not possible.
Can GOD LIE? NO! GOD CANNOT LIE.
[Titus 1.2, Heb 6.18]
Similarly, the IMMORTAL ETERNAL GOD CANNOT DIE.
[1 TIM 6.16, 1.17]
Rather, He GAVE His only-begotten Son.
Again, JOHN 3.16:
For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
(1 John 4:10) Herein is love,
not that we loved God,
but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(Rom 5:8) But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
"Jesus - God robed in human flesh, the ONE TRUE GOD."
You do err not knowing the scriptures.
Jesus Christ the Messiah,
the Son of GOD clearly identifies
WHO the ONLY TRUE GOD is:
(John 17:1) These words spake Jesus, and
lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,
Father, ...(John 17:3) And this is life eternal,
that they might know thee the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
THE ONLY TRUE GOD IS THE FATHER!
The Apostolic Church solely know ONE GOD:
(1 Cor 8:4) ... that there is none other God but one.
(1 Cor 8:6) But TO US
there is but one God, the Father, ...
Then who is Jesus?
(2 John 1:3) Grace be with you, mercy, and peace,
from God the Father,
and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Jesus Christ is the human Son of
the ONE GOD, THE FATHER!!
(1 Tim 2:5) For there is one God,
and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;
And in like manner, Jesus Christ only knows ONE GOD, the FATHER.
Thus, the Father is BOTH
the GOD & FATHER of
our Lord Jesus Christ.
[Rom 15.6, 2 Cor 11.31, Eph 1.3,17; Col 1.3, 1 Pet 1.3]
(John 20:17) ... I ascend unto my Father, and your Father;
and to my God, and your God.
(Rev 3:12) Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem,
which cometh down out of heaven
from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

The Human Jesus
The word was with God & WAS God. (so the Word WAS GOD) and then that same Word became flesh & dwelt among us (Jesus). So if God was the word, the word became the flesh, Jesus, then Jesus is God. PERIOD. And your unsound & unBiblical reasoning is precisely why EVERY Christian group (other than your own) considers your philosophies & your "religion" a cult. It's listed on EVERY cult list out there! I may not agree with every "religion" in exsistance, but I don't believe all of them to be cults. Yours, I do. It seems that most all of Christondom agrees with me.
Best wishes to you in hopes that you find the true Jesus - in whom dwells ALL OF THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY!
Your main misunderstanding is that Jesus was human AND God. No, God cannot die. Jesus' spirit (the God part of him) didn't die, the FLESH did. The flesh needed to die to be a blood ransom for our sins, of course. But God is a Spirit which will never die and cannot die.
The basis of the Christian faith is in Christ's diety. If you reject that, you reject Christianity.
A HUMAN MAN CAN'T SAVE A SINNER, only a God can. If a man can save you... then why not any man? Then why can't any human be elevated to Jesus' status yet today? Or is THAT POSSIBLE???? Because by watching your videos this is what your religion suggests, and you are treading on some very thin ice, my friend.
If that's right, then all of the new-age hype is right and ANY man IS A GOD or can be elevated to God-status. That is humanism... not Christianity.
It's all in HIM-
The fullness of the godhead is all in HIM-
The mighty God is Jesus & it's all in HIM!
1Peter 3:18: For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit
You see: Scripture tells us Jesus was put to death IN FLESH but the Spirit of God inide Jesus was what quickened Him! Human flesh & Spirit of God all in ONE PERSON, Jesus!
It's all in HIM-
The fullness of the godhead is all in HIM-
The mighty God is Jesus & it's all in HIM!...
tnx
love4holiness: now you know already who is the Only one God. :)
God bless
Jesus is the Father, He is the Son and Holy Spirit. He is the only way. Jesus or Emmanuel(God with us). No other name like the name of Jesus. God bless! :)
